We arrived on Friday, June 5th, early in the afternoon. The Allied guys unloaded the house by dinner, which was fantastic. We had the option to have them unpack the house as well, but decided we would rather just get them out of the house so we could relax and do things at our own pace.
Since my office was not yet closed, I had to fly back to DC Monday morning for 1 week. We spent the weekend before my flight exploring The Woodlands and unpacking when we could.
My in-laws arrived Saturday afternoon to help out during the week I was back in VA. They babysat for us Saturday night so we could get out for our anniversary!

Things were a huge mess the first night.

Date night at The Woodlands Waterway. We had a "small plate" dinner at a wine bar and topped it off with dessert at Americas on the water.
|
View from our table at Americas. Gorgeous!

Since we didn't have the movers unpack all the boxes, we had piles and piles of empty boxes laying around until the movers had coordinated a debris company to pickup. The entire front entry was full. Near the door there were ~50 boxes that had been broken down flat.

After the debris company picked up. So much better.
