Last weekend, Bryce and I went to Houston for 4 days to look for a place to live next year. As always with house hunting, the trip was exhausting but we had a great time getting away just the 2 of us (we flew Bryce's parents out to watch the kids).
We were also SO lucky to be able to stay with our dear friends, the Shermans! We met them through our old small group when we lived in League City and have stayed great friends. Our daughters are born 9 days apart which is even more fun down the road when they are old enough to really play together (and we live in the same state again).
We went hard during the day looking for homes, then got to come back and relax with Matt and Laura. They treated us like royalty with amazing food and even hosted a small get-together with other dear friends.
