Happy Birthday, America!

We had such a great 4th of July!  We played at home during the day, then had friends come over in the late afternoon for dinner and fireworks.

I took this pic right after Hayden woke up from her afternoon nap.  Such sweet smiles!

The weather in VA on the 4th was what dreams are made of!  70's, no humidity, no clouds.  When our friends got here, we did lots of playing outside on the swingset and the new water table.  Harper and Isaac were best buds.

We had a yummy dinner then sat in the driveway and lit off a few (small) fireworks.  Hayden went to bed but the big kids stayed up late for the fireworks then ran around trying to catch lightening bugs.  Such a great day!
