Real Engineers Wear Pink

In 2008, I ran the Nike Women's Half Marathon in San Francisco with 2 other girlfriends.  Instead of a traditional medal, you receive a sterling silver Tiffany's necklace in the traditional turquoise box when you cross the finish line.

I'm in for another!  Last year, the event expanded to the East Coast.

Myself along with my college roommate and a friend from Houston have our names in the lottery for the Nike Women's Half Marathon in Washington, DC!  We are all engineers so our group name is "Real Engineers Wear Pink".  Clever, eh?
