Date Night

My Dad was in town last weekend and we were able to sneak away in the evening for date night.  Since I'm still breastfeeding, we didn't leave until after the kids were in bed.  We were only gone a couple hours but it was glorious.

We went to a wine bar in Old Fairfax called "The Wine House".  It was really busy at 8pm so we sat at the bar and had dessert wine with dessert.  Yum.

It was so nice to sit somewhere, have an adult conversation and not have a child needing something all the time.  We laughed that we were completely content just sitting in silence... that quickly changed to talking a bit too much after a glass of wine.  Ha!
