My Heart Aches

A couple from our church in TX had 2 beautiful children, a boy and a girl.  We didn't know them well, but met them a few times at group functions and social events.

Last year they tragically lost their son to a congenital heart defect that they didn't know existed.  Proactively, they had their daughter tested as well and found out she had the same defect.  Yesterday they lost her as well.  She was high priority on the heart transplant list but unfortunately didn't receive it in time.  She was about the same age as Isaac.

You can read more on their story here.  It is such a reminder of how fragile life is however their story is inspiring at how much their faith helped them through these tough times.
