This past weekend we went on our first weekend getaway with Isaac. We drove up to Dallas to attend the Big 12 Championship with Nebraska and Oklahoma. We went last year and well and had such a fun time.
Isaac did so well during the trip and slept great at the hotel. In fact, it was about 11pm when we put him to bed and he was so tired, he slept until almost 7 am! Great job, buddy!

We weren't able to get our hands on the crazy-awesome tickets we had last year (20 yard line, 6th row from field), but it was probably for the best since we had Isaac. The crowd near our seats this year was not as rowdy.
Family picture at the game! A nice lady behind us took the picture... it was funny because I had to show her about 3 times how to use my camera. It's an SLR and I didn't think it was that complicated, but I guess I'm wrong. Three explanations and about 6 pictures later, we got a decent one. :)
The Huskers were not able to pull off a win this year either, but we still had a great time. Isaac did great with the noise and seemed intrigued by all the lights and sound.
Good-bye Big 12, unfortunately we won't miss you and it hasn't always been fun... but at least we were able to attend a few games in Texas since we've lived here. On to a new era of the Big 10!
