On Tuesday (November 2nd), Isaac was 1 month old! It's so hard to believe it's been that long already... where has the time gone?!
Here's a few things from the past month
- Isaac has always been a good sleeper, even from Day 1. The "worst" nights we've had were getting up twice to eat. He's never had his days and nights mixed up. He now wakes up only once to eat.
- He likes his pacifier during the day to soothe him, but doesn't like it at night.
- He knows Mommy and Daddy's voices and smells. He tends to be calmed down more by Daddy than Mommy.
- He stays awake ~6-8 hours during the day and is sometimes fussy, but not too bad.
- He now weighs ~9.5 lbs (8 lbs, 10 oz at birth)
- He didn't fit into most newborn clothes at birth... he now easily wears 3 month clothes.
- He has incredible timing and "aim" during diaper changes. Mommy frequently has to wash his changing pad cover, onesie and her shirt. :)
- He stares at lights. In the morning we set him in his bouncer on the kitchen table and he stares at the light above the table, sometimes for an hour or more.
- He can hold his head up easily when he's not too tired. After feeding, we have "tummy time" to practice this. He doesn't have a problem being on his tummy as long as he's not too tired.
- We don't know exactly what features he got from what parent. It changes everyday. :)
- He makes the silliest faces and we love them all. :)

A goofy expression:
I love this one... even with the drool. :)
