17 Days

Yesterday we went to the doctor. Since I'm high risk, I have ultrasounds at every visit. Every 4th week, they do a full growth scan (takes 30+ min to measure all the right parts to estimate his size). Our last scan had him measuring 3.5 lbs v. 2.5 lbs expected.

Well.... this time, he was 6 lbs 10 oz (should be 5 lbs 8 oz). His head and arms/legs are the right size, but his torso is big (where diabetic babies get big).

Sooo...

ObGyn: "Expect delivery in 2-3 weeks"

Kim: "Do we need to set a date?"

ObGyn: "Yep, what date do you want?"

Kim and Bryce: [Deer in headlights looks]

Kim: "How about October 6th?"

ObGyn: "Sounds good, but you will come in the evening of October 5th with delivery expected October 6th."

Ladies and Gents... we're 17 days away. Better. Get. Ready.
