All Decked Out

On Easter weekend, we didn't have any family in town, so we were looking for a way to spend the 3 day weekend. So, we thought we'd build a deck!

Bryce has wanted one ever since we moved into the house, so 5 1/2 years later we built one.

It's certainly not any engineering marvel, but we think it will be fine for our needs. Here's a picture. We like how it has de-cluttered our patio.

And here's an update on my roses. When we got the plants in the mail, they looked like dead sticks with zero leaves. (Pretty encouraging, huh?) Well, we followed the prep and planting instructions and here's how they are doing!
