Hayden is growing more and more every week and continues to develop into sassy, vibrant little girl. She and her brother may look alike but are growing to be their own little people!
- Hayden goes to the Pediatrician next week so I'll provide updated stats then!
- She sleeps soundly from 7pm - 7am; sometimes later on the weekends. We are in the process of converting to 1 nap during the day.
- This was a really rough month of viruses/infections. She had a double ear infection, followed by the hand-foot-mouth virus. Poor baby was so pitiful, it broke my heart!
- Verbally, she developed into saying "Mama" and "Uh-oh". The other day I was pointing out/repeating the word "bus" to her and she started repeating "sssss" to me.
- She waves and claps when we ask her to
- We are getting closer to walking independently. She pushes a walking toy all over the house on different floors (tile, rug, carpet, wood). On her birthday, she stood up while holding onto my knee and let go for ~5 seconds without falling! Isaac seemed to be in this stage for a few months so she may not be as close as we think.
- She is still doing great with table food and started on whole milk on her birthday and is doing great! It was a great feeling to put away all the bottles for good!
- Isaac is still her favorite with Mommy as a close second. :)
- We are transitioning away from milk at bedtime by decreasing the volume a little every day.
- She got her 5th tooth about a week before her birthday
- We are beginning to transition to size 4 diapers and wear 12 month clothes. She now wears shoes every day but her feet are teeny tiny for her age (a size 4 is too big!).
We had professional pictures taken for her first birthday while we were in Nebraska. I'll have to post those when we receive the files (they turned out great!). I took the following in our front room on her birthday.
