She turned 11 months on the 22nd, so I am bit late on this post. Whoops!
- On our home scale she weighs a little over 18.5 lbs.
- She is sleeping really, really well. After her bedtime bottle we rock her for a few minutes then she starts reaching for her crib to tell us she is ready. We put her in bed and don't hear a peep. On the weekends when we don't have to rush around, she wakes up on her own around 7:30.
- She take only one nap at school for about 2 hrs in the afternoon. On the weekends she usually takes 2 naps so she can catch up.
- We are still 100% on table food and have started giving her formula in a sippy at mealtimes instead of a bottle. She still gets a bottle at bedtime but that is the only time.
- The girl loves to eat! A few months ago she was quite picky, but that has passed. She will eat about anything put in front of her.
- She has 4 teeth (top 2 and bottom 2). I can feel hard bumps next to her top teeth so I think more are on the way.
- She waves and claps.
- She points at Bryce and says "Dada". Still working on "Mama", it's a tough one!
- Isaac is still her favorite person in the world. He can instantly make her happy.
- She pulls up on everything and cruises around keeping her hand on something for balance. She has let go a couple times and fallen down but at least she's trying!
- Her favorite toys are anything that Isaac is playing with. It drives him crazy! Ha!
- She still has only had one virus (with a fever) a few months ago. Since she was exposed to many things early on from Isaac, I guess it makes sense she is healthier but it still surprises me!
- She is content just sitting on your lap and relaxing. Isaac had to be moving and playing all the time so this is also new to us!
- She has started using a little sign language to communicate. When she is hungry she signs "milk" with her hands. They use sign language at school for all the basic stuff (milk, more, please, thank you) and she is starting to pick it up!
