We knew it was a likely possibility, but at Isaac's 4 months checkup we found out that he will need surgery to unplug his tear ducts. The Pediatrician said they normally wait until they are closer to 1 year old, but since his eyes are SO BAD they might as well just do them now because it is very unlikely the situation will improve.
It's a very simple procedure (only about 15 minutes) but they do have be put under anesthesia. We have an appointment with a Pediatric Ophthalmologist the first Monday in March and will schedule the surgery after that.
Please keep Isaac in your prayers (and Mommy and Daddy too!). I'm confident it will go flawlessly, but just a little scary. :(
