4 Month Stats

Since the Pediatrician's office was without water last week, our 4 month appointment was rescheduled for this morning.

Official Stats:
Weight:
  • 15.0 lbs
  • 46th percentile
Length:
  • 25.25 in
  • 56th percentile

Isaac continues to hold right on the 50th percentile curve for weight (I calculated the actual percentile on this website: http://www.infantchart.com/index.php.  Our pediatrician gives us a print-out of the growth chart with his points from birth plotted on it, but it does not show the exact numerical percentage).

He is definitely moving up on the length curve.  At 2 weeks he was ~35%, 2 months was ~40% and now at 4 months he's over 50%.  I hesitated to call it a trend until this appointment... the points on the growth chart now clearly indicate movement above the curve.  Not surprising since both his parents are on the taller side.  :)

He was a trooper for the shots.  He didn't even realize the first one happened.  He let out 2 cries for the second one then stopped and looked at me with this "What are you looking at?" kind of stare and was fine.  Whew, what a relief.
